MOD: (mentality of the day) Simple one today guys.  Set the open aside.  Set your training aside.  Set your plans for a perfect beach bod aside. Because today, we do the latest Hero WOD.  Hero WODs are CF's way of honoring men and women who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our country.  It may be silly to thinking jumping and squatting is a way to honor someone.... but I guarantee they would appreciate it.  And changing your mindset of why your doing this wod can sometimes help get some perspective on what really matters.

So set the other stuff aside.  Come in and give your very best effort.  Scale if you need to, because its not about the weight, its about the EFFORT.  Someone laid down their life so we can have a cush one here at home.


Hero WOD

'Klepto'

U.S. Air Force Major David "Klepto" L. Brodeur, 34, of Auburn, Massachusetts, assigned to the 11th Air Force, based at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, died on April 27, 2011 in Kabul, Afghanistan, of wounds sustained from gunfire from an Afghan military trainee. He is survived by his wife Susie, daughter Elizabeth, and son David.
