Kids night out a success!!! more to come

Just wanted to thank you for entrusting your kids with us last night!  I hope they had a great time!!  Special thanks to Trisha Rojas, Coltin Doyle, Jessica Byram, and Beverly Norris for volunteering their time!!!  
 
We raised $270 for the Cobblestone Project!!  Each of you will receive a letter at the end of the year from Cobblestone informing you of your total contributions for the year so you are able to add to your other charitable contributions for tax purposes.  
 
Your children were taught fundamental Crossfit movements such as Pullups, air squats, rope climb, tire jumps, Clean and Press, Jump rope, and ring dips.  We then had a little team work out and played several games and watched a movie and ate pizza and popcorn!  We also had a little dance off which was very fun to watchRolling on the floor laughing
 
Beverly Norris who owns Sweetbsphotography took pictures and we are wanting to post them on her website for you to view and if you want any of the pictures she will email them to you at no cost.  Very gracious, thank you Beverly!!  IF you do not want your kids pictures posted on her website or Cobblestone's please email me.  Her website is www.sweetbsphotography.net and Cobblestones is www.cobblestoneproject.org  
 
We hope to get them posted tomorrow and will provide instructions of how to view them and to request any pictures that you want her to send you.

Tryouts for Springfield!!!

Team,

We are going to have tryoutS for the HOA Comp in Springfield.

We will be doing a series of wods to test our athletes different skills and abilities.  If you are not entirely certain if you can make springfield, come tryout anyway.  We will have reserves.  Currently we are looking at sending two rx teams.

The first day oF tryouts will be THIS WEDNESDAY the 14th at 5 pm to.......

If you CANNOT make the tryouts, just let me know.  Wens is a rest day and I will do my best to work around some tricky schedules.  If we need to wod on a different day we can do that as well.

Please note you can only do a specific tryout wod ONCE.

The next tryout wod will be the following Thursday the 22nd at the same time, same place.  The Final wod will also be the workout for everyone at the gym.  It will be on Saturday the 24th.  That wod will be the '540'

Hes been with us for quite a while, and has had some major success.  He recently went down to Dallas with us for the Life as RX comp, and rockstar'ed all day long.  A teammate dropped out last minute and Dax just stepped up and owned Dallas.

Truly a great guy and an asset to our little family.  Always willing to work with someone, humble and hits the wod with 100% every day.  EVERY DAY.

Rest Day

Team, remember tomorrow we are having a special event.  We are honoring 31 soldiers that gave their lives for our country.  CrossFit gym across the nation are also participating in this event.

We will only be having sessions at the North Gym and during the 8 and 9 hours.  We will begin at 8 and run heats until everyone has had a chance to wod.

It is a team wod, and it can be scaled.  Please make this a priority tomorrow morning.  I know many are ready to kick off the football season early, but put it on hold for just a few hours and come be a part of something that deserves all of our attention.

Anyone can come, and it is free.  Do the wod or come cheer and hangout.  We would love to see everyone of our members there and everyone of them bring a friend.
